Happy Father's Day

This card is probably not one of my favorites after I was all done.  It's not terrible and fits several challanges.  I just struggle sometimes with masculine cards.  The Cinema Saturday challenge was to use a bit of map and all of the paper I had with maps on it felt very masculine.  So this is my take. combine with the sketch from Taylored Expressions.

The challenges I am entering this for are:
Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge 104
Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #70

Happy Birthday Birdie

This little birthday card fits several challenges.  I hadn't seen this little bird on the Home Decor cart before.  I think he's so cute.  I also used the Serenade cart for the birdcage.  I noticed after adding the picture that the mat with the bird/cage looks crooked.  It really isn't in real life.  Not sure what happened there.  Thanks for taking a peek!

This fits the following challenges:
Caardvarks Photo Inspiration Challenge
Cute Card Thursday - 103
Cricut Cardz Challenge #16
paper cutz challenge 32

Just Us Girls #24

I really like how this card turned out for the Just Us Girls challenge - All in a Flap.  I didn't have any of the little magnets to hold it closed but will be getting some because I really like this card style.  I think I'm getting a little better with the copics.  Practice, Practice, Practice.  Would love to know what you think.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look.

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #103

This is my entry for TE sketch challenge #103.  I rotated it but thought it was a cute sketch.  DP is Cosmo Cricket and stamps are TAC, I believe.  I have to get better at keeping track of what I use.

And this little gem is my 14yo DD 's take on the sketch.  It's not too often that she get's in a crafty mood but this weekend she sure was.

Daughter's Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge #74 (shades of grey) entry

While cropping with me on Sunday, DD made this for the SCSC shades of grey challenge.  She did a great job on it.  She's been dying to use that zebra paper since she got it so this was the perfect opportunity

Just Buggin Challenge

I really had trouble getting colors to come together.  I'm still not sure that I really like it.  I made the cake slice cake and it turned out terrible.  I won't even bother posting it.  I'm going to have to play with this cart a bit more.  Maybe I am over thinking it.  Anywho here's what I came up with.

Daughter's Cuttlebug Challenge and Just Buggin Entry

Hope you don't mind.  My 14 year old DD wanted to hang out with "mom" and make some cards.  She thought it would be cool to do some of the challenges.  She made this cute little owl card and envy from the Wild Card cart.  She did a pretty darn good job on it.

One last post for tonight

This card was created for The Sweet Stop Sketches #45 and Basic Grey Challenge week 14 color combo.  I used Basic Grey paper from the "Perhaps" line.  Sentiment stamp is from Stampendous.  I really like this color combo and the DP includes all of the colors.  The little flower stamp is from a set by I believe is Hero Arts.   I used a liquid pearl pen for the dots on the yellow scallop paper and I used a glitter pen on the pink rectangle.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

MTSC63 and CCEE1008

This card is for Mercy's tuesday sketch challenge-63 and cceestampers color challenge 1008.  I think I may be a little late on the CCEE color challenge but I'll post it any.  I stamped the background paper with Flourishes stamps by Autumn Leaves and used a glitter pen to highlight the dotted swirls.  I already had the flower imaging stamped, colored and brought it with me.  I am pretty sure it is a Hero Arts stamp.  I didn't have ribbon to make a very good bow and I had to handcut the oval (again because I am traveling).  All in all I don't think I did a terrible job.  Not my favorite card but I will still mail it out, maybe for my mom's birthday later this month.

Never too many hugs

So last night I really had hoped to make a couple of cards but 2 Margarita's later (yes I'm a light weight) it just wasn't going to happen.  So tonight I was able to get back the hotel earlier and here is one of my creations with the limited supplies that I packed.

This is my entry for Sunday Sketch and Stamp #22 and Cute Card Thursday #102 challenges.  SSS#22 was a sketch challenge and CCT#102 was a color challenge to use green.  I think I'll be sending this one to my niece in college just to say "hi".  That girl is a hugger so this card is very fitting.  Sentiment stamp is by Stampendous and background stamps are Flourishes from Autumn Leaves.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek!

MIA

I feel terrible that I didn't get any cards made over the weekend again.  Traveling on business today and am hoping my dinner tonight doesn't run too late because I brought some paper goodness to play with later.  Check back soon for a new card or two.
